💕 Anniversary Calculator
Enter the day you got together to see what day you're on today and when your 100-day, 1,000-day and yearly anniversaries fall — counted the Korean couple way. Wedding anniversaries too.
Anniversary dates (next one highlighted · past dates dimmed)
How to use the anniversary calculator
Enter the day you started dating and you'll instantly see what day number today is and how long until your next milestone. The table lists every 100-day milestone up to 1,000 days, then 2,000 and 3,000 days, plus your 1st through 10th anniversaries — with weekdays, in date order. Past milestones are dimmed and the next one is highlighted. Change the "As of" date to see what day number a past or future date was.
Once you enter a date, the address bar changes to something like ?d=2026-01-01. Press Copy link and send it to your partner — it opens with the same start date. Wedding mode adds &m=wed.
Korean couples count from Day 1
In South Korea, couples celebrate milestones by the number of days they've been together, and the first day of the relationship counts as Day 1. So the 100-day anniversary (baek-il, 백일) falls 99 days after the start date — the same way Koreans count a baby's 100th day. It's a big deal: couples exchange gifts, wear matching rings or outfits and post on social media, and it repeats at 200, 300 and especially 1,000 days. If you're dating someone Korean, watching a K-drama or just like the idea, this calculator gets the dates right.
- Today's day number
today − start date + 1 - N-day anniversary
start date + (N − 1) days - Yearly anniversary the same month and day as the start date (a Feb 29 start falls on Feb 28 in common years)
Example: together since Thursday, January 1, 2026
| Milestone | Date |
|---|---|
| 100 days | 04/10/2026 (Fri) |
| 200 days | 07/19/2026 (Sun) |
| 300 days | 10/27/2026 (Tue) |
| Day 365 | 12/31/2026 (Thu) |
| 1st anniversary | 01/01/2027 (Fri) |
| 500 days | 05/15/2027 (Sat) |
| 1,000 days | 09/26/2028 (Tue) |
| 2,000 days | 06/23/2031 (Mon) |
| 3,000 days | 03/19/2034 (Sun) |
Counting from Day 1, day 365 is the day before the first anniversary — an anniversary is "the same date a year later", not a day count. October 13, 2026 is this couple's day 286.
Other Korean couple days
Besides day counts, Korean couples have a "14th" day almost every month: Valentine's Day (Feb 14, women give chocolate), White Day (Mar 14, men return the favor), Black Day (Apr 14, singles eat black-bean noodles), Rose Day (May 14), Kiss Day (Jun 14) and Hug Day (Dec 14) are the best known. Some couples also mark 22 days and monthly anniversaries early in a relationship.
Wedding mode counts from Day 0
Wedding anniversaries work like birthdays: the wedding day is day 0 and the 1st anniversary is the same date a year later. "100 days married" is the wedding date + 100 days (married May 23, 2026 → 100 days on August 31, 2026; 1,000 days on February 16, 2029). In this mode the table shows the 1st–10th anniversaries and every 5th year up to the 60th, with the traditional US anniversary gift themes:
| Anniversary | Traditional gift |
|---|---|
| 1st | Paper |
| 2nd | Cotton |
| 3rd | Leather |
| 4th | Fruit & Flowers |
| 5th | Wood |
| 6th | Iron |
| 7th | Wool & Copper |
| 8th | Bronze |
| 9th | Pottery |
| 10th | Tin & Aluminum |
| 15th | Crystal |
| 20th | China |
| 25th | Silver |
| 30th | Pearl |
| 35th | Coral |
| 40th | Ruby |
| 45th | Sapphire |
| 50th | Gold |
| 55th | Emerald |
| 60th | Diamond |
Gift lists differ by source and country (modern lists use clock, china or silverware for some years, and the UK lists sugar for the 6th), but the 25th silver, 50th gold and 60th diamond anniversaries are universal. In Korea, a couple's 60th wedding anniversary is also celebrated with a traditional feast called hoehollye.
Tips
- Planning a 100-day date: check the weekday in the table; if it's midweek, book the nearest Friday or Saturday ahead of time.
- Not sure which day you started? Many couples use the day of the confession or the first official date — try both and pick the one you agree on.
- Plain date math: for counts that don't include the start date, use the days until calculator (Day 0 option) or the date calculator.
- Baby's 100th day and first birthday: the baby age calculator shows them with the baby's age in months.
