🎱 Lotto Number Generator
Draws fair random numbers for South Korea's Lotto 6/45, Powerball, Mega Millions or your own range. Pick numbers that must appear (fixed) or never appear (excluded) and generate up to 10 lines at once.
How to use the lottery number generator
- Choose a game: Korea Lotto 6/45 (6 numbers from 1–45), Powerball (5 from 1–69 plus a Powerball from 1–26), Mega Millions (5 from 1–70 plus a Mega Ball from 1–24) or Custom — any count from 1–20 numbers out of a range up to 99, handy for raffles, Pick-6 style state games or classroom draws.
- Under When I tap a number, choose Fixed or Excluded, then tap numbers on the board. Tap again to clear.
- Fixed numbers appear in every line (up to one fewer than the numbers drawn); excluded numbers never appear.
- Set how many lines (1–10) and tap Generate. Lines A–J are drawn at once — tap again as often as you like.
- Use copy to paste the numbers into a note or group chat, then fill them in on a play slip or enter them manually online.
For Korea Lotto 6/45, ball colors follow the official draw: 1–10 yellow, 11–20 blue, 21–30 red, 31–40 gray, 41–45 green. Powerball is shown in red and the Mega Ball in gold. Fixed numbers get an outline.
How are the numbers drawn?
The generator uses your browser's cryptographic random number generator, crypto.getRandomValues, which is far less predictable than Math.random. The tiny bias you normally get when squeezing a random number into a range (modulo bias) is removed with rejection sampling. All remaining candidates are shuffled with the Fisher-Yates algorithm and the first ones are taken, so every remaining number has exactly the same chance. Numbers never repeat within a line; lines are independent, so two identical lines are possible but astronomically unlikely.
Korea Lotto 6/45 odds
In South Korea's Lotto 6/45 (로또 6/45, run by Dhlottery) you choose 6 numbers out of 45, so there are 45C6 = 45×44×43×42×41×40 ÷ 720 = 8,145,060 possible combinations. Each draw picks 6 winning numbers plus 1 bonus number. One line costs ₩1,000.
| Prize | Match | Combinations | Odds | % | Prize money |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | All 6 numbers | 1 | 1 in 8,145,060 | 0.0000123% | 75% of the prize pool, shared by 1st-prize winners |
| 2nd | 5 numbers + bonus number | 6 | 1 in 1,357,510 | 0.0000737% | 12.5% of the pool, shared |
| 3rd | 5 numbers (no bonus) | 228 | 1 in 35,724 | 0.0028% | 12.5% of the pool, shared |
| 4th | 4 numbers | 11,115 | 1 in 733 | 0.136% | Fixed ₩50,000 |
| 5th | 3 numbers | 182,780 | 1 in 44.6 | 2.24% | Fixed ₩5,000 |
| Any prize | 5th or better | 194,130 | 1 in 42 | 2.38% | - |
- 2nd — 5 of the 6 winning numbers (
6C5 = 6) and the remaining pick is the bonus number → 6 ways - 3rd — 5 matches and the remaining pick is one of the 38 non-winning, non-bonus numbers →
6 × 38 = 228 - 4th —
6C4 × 39C2 = 15 × 741 = 11,115(bonus doesn't matter) - 5th —
6C3 × 39C3 = 20 × 9,139 = 182,780
About half of ticket sales is paid back as prizes, so a ₩1,000 line returns about ₩500 on average before tax. In Korea, winnings up to ₩2 million per line are tax-free, the portion up to ₩300 million is taxed at 22% and anything above that at 33%.

Does a number generator improve your odds?
No. No generator, "hot numbers" list or pattern system can change the odds. Every draw is independent, so every combination — including 1-2-3-4-5-6 — has exactly the same chance. This tool simply picks numbers fairly so you don't have to.
The one thing you can influence
You can't change your chance of winning, but you can change how many people you'd share a jackpot with. Lots of players pick birthdays (1–31), lucky 7s and neat patterns on the play slip, so those combinations are shared more often when they win. Random numbers avoid that crowding; if you want to force some high numbers in, fix one above 31.
Handy uses
- Office or family pool — set the number of lines to the number of people and paste the list into the group chat so everyone knows which line is theirs.
- Lucky numbers — fix your favorites and let the generator fill in the rest.
- Raffles and classroom draws — use Custom, e.g. 3 numbers from 1–30.
Prize structures, prices and tax rates are as of October 2026 and may change; always confirm results with the official lottery operator (Dhlottery in Korea). You must be of legal age to buy lottery tickets (19+ in Korea; 18+ in most US states). Numbers are generated in your browser and are never stored or sent anywhere.
