Formulas
Weekly pay = hourly wage × weekly hours + weekly holiday payWeekly holiday pay = hourly wage × (weekly hours ÷ 5), max 8 hours. Requires 15+ hours a week and full attendance.Monthly pay = hourly wage × (weekly hours + holiday hours) × 4.345, where 4.345 = 365 days ÷ 7 ÷ 12 months.- A 40-hour week gives (40 + 8) × 4.345 ≈ 209 hours, so the minimum monthly wage is
₩10,320 × 209 = ₩2,156,880.

Tips
- The 15-hour threshold — 14.5 vs 15 hours a week decides whether you get weekly holiday pay. Check the contractual hours in your employment contract.
- "Wage including holiday pay" — for 40 hours a week, holiday pay adds 20%, so ₩10,320 becomes an effective ₩12,384/hour. An ad saying "₩12,000 including juhyu" is below minimum wage.
- Monthly → hourly — for the minimum-wage check, count base pay and fixed monthly allowances only; leave out overtime, night and holiday premiums.
- Pre-tax figures — all amounts are gross. See net pay with the monthly salary after tax calculator or, for 3.3% freelance pay, the 3.3% freelancer tax calculator.
Based on the 2026 minimum wage of ₩10,320 set by the Minimum Wage Commission. Night (10pm–6am) and holiday premiums, weeks with absences and actual calendar days are not reflected; the monthly figure uses an average of 4.345 weeks.
