Terms of Use

The Korean version (이용약관) has the same content; if the two differ, the Korean version prevails.

1. Purpose

These terms set out the conditions for using the calculators, converters, text tools, personality quizzes, games, social media tools and articles (the "service") provided by smith lab (the "site"), and the rights and responsibilities of the operator and users.

2. Using the service

Anyone can use the service for free without signing up. To improve the service, the operator may change or discontinue the features, design or availability of tools, and will announce important changes on the site.

3. Nature of results and information

• All results and articles are general reference information, not tax, legal, financial or medical advice.
• Tax rates, insurance rates and rules are as of the time of writing and may change. Each page shows its reference year.
• Actual taxes, pay, pensions and loan terms are determined by the relevant agencies, employers and financial institutions.
• Health content does not replace diagnosis or treatment. If you have symptoms or concerns, consult a medical professional.

4. Quizzes, games and AI analysis

• Personality quiz and social media analysis results are for fun; they are not psychological tests, medical judgments or evaluations of anyone.
• The AI analysis in the Instagram feed analyzer sends photos to an external AI service only when you choose to, and you may upload only photos you own or are allowed to share. You are responsible for any problems caused by uploading other people's photos without permission.
• In online games, you must not use nicknames or behave in ways that offend other players.

5. Advertising and external links

The site may display third-party ads such as Google AdSense. Advertisers are responsible for their ads and for the products and services they offer. External links on the site (official agencies, research and so on) are provided for convenience, and the linked sites' content and policies are the responsibility of their operators.

6. Limitation of liability

The operator works to keep the service accurate and stable, but is not legally responsible for decisions you make based on results or information from the service, or for their consequences. The same applies when the service is interrupted for reasons beyond the operator's control, such as natural disasters or hosting outages.

7. Prohibited conduct

• Calling the service excessively by automated means or otherwise interfering with the normal operation of the site
• Copying or redistributing the site's content in bulk without attribution
• Using features such as AI analysis to harass or defame others

8. Copyright

The site's design, character (smith), articles, illustrations and quiz questions are copyrighted by the operator. Limited quotation and sharing with attribution (a link) are welcome.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes related to the service will be resolved by the competent court under applicable law.

10. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with its effective date.
